Personal History
Dr. M. Zahoor,
came to the United States from India at the age of 5. He grew up and attended public schools in the Detroit Public School System. After graduating he attended Wayne State
University for his undergraduate studies and then went on to Medical School in the West Indies. Completing medical school and getting his degree, Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Zahoor decided he wanted to pursue a life of healing without prescription medication.
As he knew, the body is a marvelous creation and if given the
proper tools or help (via nutrition, herbals, homeopathic etc.) can and will heal on it's own. So after completing his M.D., he went to a
Naturopathic School in Arkansas to become a Naturopathic Doctor. After completing this portion of his education, Dr. Zahoor continued to become a Certified Nutritional Consultant and a Total Body Modification Practitioner. He later became a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist.
Dr. Zahoor is constantly educating himself by taking classes and seminars. He
feels the more knowledge he has the more information he can provide to his
patients so they can better understand and help themselves become healthy and live a healthy lifestyle. He also feels that this allows him to provide more choices of therapies to correct the root cause of the distress(es) to their bodies.
Dr. Zahoor believes that to correct any problem we have to go to the initial or root cause. If we correct a problem at the root, it can not come back. However, if we suppress it with medication, it is
like painting over a rusted area of a car and thinking the rust is
gone. Sooner or later the rust will come through the painted area and
will have spread even further and deeper. Giving the body the tools it needs to heal itself gets rid of the rust.
